Head of Copper Cable Splicing- Operations Director Role

Green Planet 21 Utility Services is a major telecommunications company providing
copper outside plant services and network decommissioning for telecommunications
companies throughout the world.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience in OSP and copper cable
splicing experience to join our team in overseeing operations. This role would be require
managing a team, interfacing with clients, and traveling to various sites.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a team responsible for auditing, decommissioning, compressing and rerouting traffic on copper cables.
- Talking to clients about projects and managing client projects
- Managing a team that Decommission Designs without interrupting the active Telco Network
Experience:
- Journeyman splicer: copper cable maintenance and end work: multiple years of experience
- Must be able to read and execute from blueprints and/or wire diagrams.
- Have thorough knowledge of telecommunications network structure.
- Experienced in: * Transfer of Alarms & circuit T1s using the proper testequipment.
- Working with paper, pic, gel and lead sheathed cables.
